Millions of Brits headed to see Taylor Swift in the last month as the 14-time Grammy winner performed 15 stadium shows in the UK as part of her record-breaking Eras tour.

The singer, who closed out the tour in London after performing more shows in the capital than any other city in the world, broke records at Wembley as more than 720,000 people watched her in the national stadium alone.

And while many of the shows are dominated by women, many fathers were dragged along too, as well as boyfriends, partners, and uncles getting in the full Swiftie spirit dancing and singing the night away.

One notable father to shake it off was Prince William, who accompanied his two eldest children, Charlotte and George.

A very excited William brokeout his best ‘dad dancing’ as the singer, 34, performed her 2014 hit single Shake It Off.

The Pennsylvania born pop-star even offered a rare backstage pass for the Prince and his children who posed to grab a picture with Taylor, in what have now become world famous selfies.

While the Prince of Wales opted to dress in his usual attire of a sophisticated shirt and jacket, he offered up a slightly more casual look that his official engagement, loosening his top buttons and leaving the tie at home.

Meanwhile, of the many father’s spotted enjoying the American singer’s tour, a number have been seen embracing the Swfitie culture by donning a costume piece or two.

In one clip, a father and daughter were filmed singing and dancing together to one of Taylor songs.

The father in question wasn’t quite there with the cowboy hat but sported an appropriately coloured bright pink T-shirt to enjoy the concert with his young daughter.

The mother of the girl happened to stumble upon the video and informed viewers that the pink sporting father had gone all out Swiftie for the upcoming show.

She wrote on the video: ‘He spent six months listening to nothing but Taylor Swift to learn every word to every song on the set list for a moment like this.’

And Prince William wasn’t the only recognisible individual with the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Darren Jones revealing yesterday that he too had indulged in an evening as a ‘Swiftie dad’.

The politician shared a picture to his X account, revealing the three little wrists of his daughters, his wife, Lucy Symons-Jones, and his own wrist adorned with traditional Swiftie bracelets.

During the June performances earlier this year, Labour leader – now Prime Minister – Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria were also among spotted enjoying the concert with their two young children with the Wembley crowd.

David Cameron, Rishi Sunak and Sadiq Khan were among the other politicians heading to the gig.

A second type of Swiftie father was also spotted at the Wembley shows earlier this year in June, sporting an outfit of a red checkered shirt and summer cap – possibly hinting that he had combined the day with a trip to Wimbledon to watch the tennis.

Last night the Shake it Off hitmaker, 34, took to the stage at Wembley Arena for night eighth of her Eras Tour gigs at the stadium.

Experiencing the worst of the unpredictable British weather, Taylor performed in the open air arena as the heavens opened.

The stellar performance last night will complete Taylor’s European leg of her Eras tour.

The singer treated her fans to duets and never played before surprise tracks.

As the show-stopping concert drew to a close the star gushed: ‘London I have just had the best most unforgettable night with you.

Thanks for wanting to be with us for the last night of the European leg of the Eras tour.’

And as 92,000 fans gathered at the stadium, fans went wild as the star was joined on stage by Florence Welch for a duet of their hit track Florida!!! from Taylor’s most recent album The Tortured Poets Department.

Fans screamed the stadium down as the first few bars of the song, before Florence then emerged to mark the first time the singer has played the track on the tour.

While the singer famously saves the songs not on the usual setlist for the ‘Surprise’ section of the show, she seemed to make an exception on this special occasion.

And even after the concert, the star continued to treat her fans as she dropped the video for her hit track I Can Do It With A Broken Heart off her latest record.

As Taylor gushed over the privilege of ‘getting to work with her best friend’ the crowd went wild as Jack entered the stage.
