Kim Richards placed on psychiatric hold after trying to…see more

Kim Richards has relapsed after years of sobriety and had to be placed on a psychiatric hold as a result, TMZ reported Friday.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 60, reportedly got into a dispute with sister Kyle Richards at the latter’s home in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Police were called to the “RHOBH” star’s property to remove the troubled reality star, per the outlet.

Kim had reportedly been given permission to live at the house Kyle owns, but was then rescinded those privileges after family shut her out due to her issues.

When former child star returned to Kyle’s house Wednesday, authorities were reportedly informed that Kim was not allowed there as relatives cut her off in hopes of helping her get sober again.
In a separate incident in early September, when Kim was staying at a Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, the “Little House on the Prairie” alum was reportedly seen acting “incoherent.”

Police were reportedly called and when Kim allegedly refused to leave the hotel, she was placed on a 5150 hold and taken away via ambulance, per TMZ.

It appears that the incident at Kyle’s residence took place after Kim was released from the hold.

The former Bravo star, who was a full-time cast member on “RHOBH” from Seasons 1 to 5, very publicly dealt with substance abuse issues, as even Kyle outed her as an “alcoholic” in the first season.
However, Kim appeared to turn a corner with Andy Cohen revealing that even Bravo stepped up to pay for the former’s 2011 rehab stay.

“When it was clear that it was a real problem, we wanted to be responsible and we didn’t want to put her in a situation where anything could be exacerbated,” the “Watch What Happens Live” host, 56, shared in the “Diamonds and Rosé” book.

“We considered her family and wanted to work with her to get her better. Bravo paid for her rehab.”

In 2019, Kyle, 55, credited Bravo with saving her older sister’s life, saying on “The Jenny McCarthy Show,” “If anything, being on the show made her accountable and she says that as well.

Real-life therapist and his mistress depicted in Menendez brothers Netflix series are seen for the first time since ex-lovers lit up notorious act in…see more

They are the warring former lovers whose sensational testimony electrified the 1993 murder trial of Beverly Hills rich kids Lyle and Erik Menendez.

Now the brothers’ therapist Dr. Jerome Oziel, 78, and his former mistress Judalon Smyth, 72, have been photographed for the first time in 31 years in exclusive.

The former couple’s story is back in the headlines thanks to the smash-hit success of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The series stars Javier Bardem and Chloe Sevigny as Jose and Kitty Menendez – the parents the brothers shot dead at their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989.

Oziel and Smyth are played by Dallas Roberts and Leslie Grossman in the hit drama which includes scenes showing the pair testifying at trial.
Their testimony descended into a circus thanks to its lurid content and the couple taking the stand on opposite sides.

The ex-lovers once lived glamorous lives in Los Angeles, with Oziel running a successful psychotherapy practice in the ritzy LA suburb of Calabasas and Smyth enjoying a lengthy career as an EMT in Beverly Hills.

According to her LinkedIn page, she also ran a tourism consultancy called Travel Secrets that shut down in 2012 and had a side role dispensing beauty advice for a second consultancy called Youth Secrets.

But DailyMail.com can reveal both have now moved away from Los Angeles and are living quietly in cities 300 miles apart.

Oziel now lives alone in a $875,000 five-bedroom home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after his wife Laurel divorced him in 2014
The couple appear to have split shortly after the trial, with Laurel moving to Arizona and then Oregon while Oziel moved to New Mexico.

Despite their lengthy separation, Laurel didn’t end their marriage until September 2013 with the divorce finalized the following year.

In 1997, Oziel was struck off by the California Board of Psychologists as a result of his testimony at the Menendez trial and had his medical license revoked.
Nonetheless, he remains listed on the website of a company called the Marital Mediation Center which has an address in Albuquerque and says he is employed there as a therapist.

When DailyMail.com visited, the premises appeared to be an ordinary suburban home with a black pick-up parked on the driveway, although no one would answer the door.
Smyth lives 336 miles north of Albuquerque in the quiet Colorado town of Pueblo in a modest $189,000 four-bedroom home and, like her former lover, lives alone.

Both declined to comment on their reignited fame when approached
Despite Smyth’s reticence to talk about the Menendez case, she has long been active on social media where she has spoken frequently of her support for former President Donald Trump and her congresswoman firebrand Republican Lauren Boebert.

The 72-year-old has also shared bizarre conspiracy theories, including one that accuses the Rockefeller dynasty of killing millions with shoddy vaccines during the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic and another that claimed the real British king is a man named John III and not the real monarch Charles III.

In 1989, the year that the Menendez brothers gunned down their parents inside the sitting room at their Beverly Hills home, the pair were lovers.

Oziel and Smyth met when she approached him looking for relationship therapy sessions – a lucrative business for Oziel who charged $150 an hour.

After realizing she couldn’t afford the fees, Smyth and Oziel began a sexual relationship, and the now-72-year-old testified during the trial that she presented him with a ‘sex IOU’ – that included pawprints from her two cats Shanti Oz and Ishi Kitty, whom she enlisted as witnesses.

Lana Del Rey marries alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in…see more

Lana Del Rey tied the knot!

The “Summertime Sadness” songstress has married Jeremy Dufrene after first being romantically linked to the alligator tour guide in late August.

Dufrene and Del Rey — born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant — exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony in front of their family and friends in Des Allemandes, La.

Del Ray was spotted walking down the aisle in a flowing white gown alongside her father Robert Grant to kick off the nuptials, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

Dufrene wore a dark suit, vest and brown leather shoes for the outdoor ceremony.
The ceremony was held next to the Bayous des Allemends, where Dufrene operates his boat tours outside of New Orleans, the outlet added.

The “Young and Beautiful” hitmaker, 39, and Dufrene, who have allegedly known each other for many years (they appeared in a Facebook photo together in 2019), were first rumored to be dating after a TikTok video of them holding hands surfaced this summer.
At the time, Del Rey was performing at the Reading Festival in Reading, England when fans spotted the lovebirds hand-in-hand.

Amid the dating rumors, Del Rey seemingly denied that she was linked to Dufrene in the comments section of an Aug. 31 Instagram post.
Despite the recording artist’s firm denial in the comments, Del Rey and her man soon went official when they were photographed holding hands again in New York City on Sept. 7.

Dufrene and his love attended model Karen Elson’s wedding that weekend and didn’t hold back on the PDA.

Just one month after being linked to each other, Del Rey and Dufrene obtained a marriage license the week of Sept. 23, which the clerk at the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court confirmed to Page Six on Sept. 26.
At the time, the clerk revealed that Del Rey and Dufrene had 30 days to use the marriage license before it expired.

TMZ was the first to report this news in late September.

This is not the first time that Del Rey planned a wedding, as she was previously engaged to fellow musician Evan Winiker, according to a report by Billboard from March 2023.

Despite the prior wedding bells, Del Rey confirmed that she was single during a Nov. 2023 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“I’m definitely not in love right now. No,” she said at the time. “Absolutely not in love. Have been, but no.”

In December 2020, Del Rey was also rumored to be engaged to Clayton Johnson.

Heather Locklear celebrates 63rd birthday at Thousand Oaks ice-cream shop - ahead of her acting comeback in…see more

Heather Locklear kicked off her 63rd birthday celebrations on Wednesday by indulging in a frozen treat at Little Calf Creamery & Cafe, which is located not far from her $2M Thousand Oaks home.

The Melrose Place alum – who was clutching two iPhones – was joined at the ice-cream shop by a woman she calls her ‘one of my favorite single BFFs’ as well as her beloved dog, Mister.

Heather – who appeared at That’s 4 Entertainment’s 90s Con on September 14-15 – positively beamed while sporting a black V-neck Adidas top, matching leggings, and Nike sneakers.

On October 4, Locklear will celebrate the 27th birthday of her daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora, whose February 12th engagement to investment associate Tyler Farrar was the ‘second best day of my life.’

‘First was the day she was born,’ the six-time Golden Globe nominee gushed on Instagram. ‘Sweetest couple ever. Congratulations!’
Heather welcomed her only child during her 11-year marriage to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, which ended in 2007.

Ava achieved her Master of Science in marriage and family therapy at USC last year after earning her Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology at Loyola Marymount University in 2020.

Locklear is set to make her acting comeback as disgraced counselor Jodi Hildebrandt alongside Emilie Ullerup in Kevin Fair’s drama Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story, which premieres October 26 on Lifetime.

The 56-year-old former pageant princess and the 42-year-old 8 Passengers YouTube star shared a philosophy about strict parenting, which turned out to be horrifying abuse on Ruby’s malnourished eight-year-old and 12-year-old children.

Last year, Hildebrandt plead guilty to four counts of felony aggravated child abuse on December 27 and was sentenced to four terms of one to 15 years consecutively at the Utah State Correctional Facility.

The Dynasty alum hasn’t had an acting gig since portraying author Kristine Carlson in Ellen S. Pressman’s Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, which aired on Lifetime in 2021.

Heather – who’s been in and out of rehab ’20 times’ – appears to be on the straight and narrow following her well-documented battle with substance abuse, mental health issues, and arrests for domestic violence and battery between 2006-2019.

In 2019, Locklear pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanor counts: five counts of battery on a peace officer, one count of battery on an emergency medical personnel, and two counts of resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.
The SoCal native was ordered to complete a 30-day residential rehab stay in a mental health facility with a 120-day jail sentence suspended.
