Taylor Swift ‘Looking Forward’ to Big Change With Travis Kelce… Read more
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and billionaire musician girlfriend Taylor Swift are enjoying their time away from their respective occupations.
Swift wrapped the final show of her Eras Tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, in December 2024 and Kelce put the finishing touches on the 2024 NFL season in a heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. The couple enjoyed a slight hiatus from the public eye before making a number of public appearances in recent weeks.
On June 13, the duo made a surprise appearance at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. While they’re enjoying the offseason, Kelce made it clear he plans to come back with a vengeance during the 2025 NFL season.
During the latest New Heights episode special guest Shaquille O’Neal, the future Hall of Famer said, “Wait till you see this year, baby. I’m coming back with a little bit of Shaq f***ing pissed off and ready to rock and roll, man.”
Kelce isn’t the only one looking forward to the new season, though.
Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule,” a source told People. “This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”
Swift’s historic Eras Tour which began in Glendale, AZ in March 2023, spanned five continents and grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales, making it the highest-grossing tour in history.
“The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn’t easy but they made it work,” the source said.
Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she’s genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently.”
Kelce admitted he didn’t love how the 2024 season came to a close, but he’s looking forward to 2025.
“I don’t think it was my best outing. I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I want to give it a good run,” he said. “I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me. I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and in the community.”
Swift plans to attend as many games a possible, though she has a history of only attending Chiefs home games – and the Super Bowl – for security reasons.
