She rallied her fans after delivering a surprise endorsement of Democratic Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris shortly after her debate on Tuesday against Donald Trump.

And Taylor Swift also got plenty of support for her Instagram post from her celebrity pals and admirers.

Among those pressing ‘like’ on her post were several of her close friends, including Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, Suki Waterhouse and her former BFF Karlie Kloss.

But the 34-year-old Shake It Off singer was also inundated by support from other stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Oprah and Katie Holmes, among many others.

The list of celebrities liking Taylor’s post skewed heavily female and included actors and performers at all levels of stardom, though the A-list was particularly represented.
Some of the stars liking the post have previously made high-profile endorsements of their own, or spoken out publicly about politics, such as Oprah Winfrey.

The talk show host — who captivated the audience at the Democratic National Convention shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorse Harris — was among those showing her support.

Others, such as country singer Maren Morris and Chrissy Teigen, are already well known for sharing their political opinions on social media.

Several of the stars were movers and shakers in Hollywood, like prolific film and television producer Reese Witherspoon and actress-turned-filmmaker Olivia Wilde.

Other actresses supporting Swift and her post included film stars Jennifer Garner, Katie Holmes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Lupita Nyong’o and Rachel Zegler

Actresses who are best known for television also had her back, though several of them also have thriving film careers. Kerry Washington, Aubrey Plaza, Quinta Brunson, Mandy Moore, Mindy Kaling, Kristin Davis, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Alba, Hilary Duff and Lili Reinhart all pressed the ‘like’ button.

Taylor also had fellow musicians lining up behind her, including Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Charli XCX and Chloe Bailey, while John Legend was one of the few male A-listers who took the time to like her post.

Swift’s fans showed their support for her endorsement after she branded herself a ‘childless cat lady’ — a reference to widely criticized remarks from Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance — which inspired numerous social media users to get behind her.

‘Childless cat ladies unite!’ wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter) in response to Swift’s surprise endorsement.

To underscore the jab, she posed with her fluffy Ragdoll cat Benjamin Button.

Her social media post garnered praise from fans after some Swifties took Taylor to task for cozying up to her friend Brittany Mahomes, despite her support for Donald Trump.

After noting that she had watched Tuesday night’s debate between Harris and Trump, she explained that she was publicly endorsing Harris to clarify her position after AI-generated images that falsely claimed she had endorsed Trump were spread across the internet.

‘I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,’ she declared.

Swift added that she was supporting Harris ‘because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,’ and she praised her runningmate Walz for ‘standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.’

Although Taylor’s post seemed to be a hit with her fans, it was also well received by fellow celebrities on Instagram who rushed to give it a ‘like.’

Several Swifties who reacted positively to the pop star’s endorsement were of the opinion that it was the final push Harris needed to push her over the finish line.

‘OMG!!’ wrote another excited fan while including a gif of Taylor cheering that read, ‘Let’s go!’ They added the hashtag #TaylorSwiftforHarrisWalz.

Others imagined Swift celebrating after shaking up the campaigns with her endorsement.

One user edited the popular ‘disaster girl’ meme to replace the devious-looking child with Swift as a house was engulfed in flames behind her.

Another person reposted Taylor’s ‘Childless Cat Lady’ line with a clip of a woman screaming with joy as she created a makeshift flamethrower.

Robert Griffin III joked, ‘Oh it’s over. Swifties don’t play.’

Desus Nice joked that ‘we aint seeing kid rock an any tortured poet department rerelease’ in the wake of the endorsement.

One user wrote that the ‘debate was so devastating for Trump that it expedited the Taylor Swift endorsement.’

Others alluded to reports that the Trump campaign was dismayed by how JD Vance’s past statements have come to haunt it.

‘trump is going to hang jd vance by his ankles off the top of trump tower,’ joked a poster on X.

Swift’s endorsement appears to have shored up her support from many fans who previously criticized her for continuing her friendship with Brittany Mahomes.

The pop star befriended Mahomes, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, after she began dating his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce.

Brittany was previously a member of Taylor’s ‘squad’ of famous female friends, but it wasn’t clear if her position was safe after she liked several pro-Trump social media posts, which outraged the Shake It Off singer’s fans.

There were rumors of a rift between the two, particularly after Brittany wasn’t among Taylor’s entourage when the Chiefs played the Ravens earlier this month.

However, a source later told The Sun that the two simply had different plans for that game.

Taylor then indicated that she and Brittany were still pals when they shared an affectionate hug at the Men’s Singles Final match at the US Open on Sunday.
Some Republicans — and even Swifties — had speculated that the songstress might not endorse a candidate after previously endorsing President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Her renewed embrace of Mahomes fueled the fringe theory, but Tuesday’s post-debate endorsement made it clear that Swift’s politics and values were unchanged.
